Hundreds of Passengers Stranded in Uncertainty at Airport

Regular flights between Armenia and Russia have resumed today. However, hundreds of passengers are facing issues as they have been informed that their flights are delayed, with some claiming they have been canceled. People are left without information on what is happening and are waiting at the "Zvartnots" International Airport.

Satenik Hovhannisyan, the public relations officer at Zvartnots Airport, told Lragir.am that the problem is as follows: various flights from several Russian cities to Armenia are being delayed, which has resulted in the flights from Armenia to Russia experiencing delays as well.

“There are several flights that have been delayed. People are waiting, and this is related to the delays. If there are other issues, the airline should clarify,” she said.

The news outlet notes that according to Satenik Hovhannisyan, schedules for delayed flights have been recorded. “At this moment, our only information is that there have been delays; we do not have further details. People are currently waiting at the airport; their flights were supposed to be in the morning, but the times have changed,” Hovhannisyan added, noting that they are not informed about the reasons for the delays.
