2 Azerbaijanis Entered Talish Village in a 'Niva' and Detonated a Mine
33-year-old Bakhtiar Mahmudov did not detonate a mine in Mataghis but in the village of Talish. This information was reported by Azerbaijani media citing the country’s Prosecutor General's Office.
It was noted that Mahmudov was accompanied by his relative Elshan Abasov, who has already been interrogated by the officials of the Prosecutor's Office.
“It has been revealed that the men illegally entered the area of Talish village in a ‘Niva’ vehicle. Upon exiting the vehicle, Mahmudov stepped on a mine and was killed as a result of the explosion,” the statement said.
Currently, forensic experts are conducting an investigation.
