Photo: Azerbaijani Vandalism Reaches Memorial for Heroes of the Great Patriotic War

There have been numerous instances of vandalism in areas of Artsakh under Azerbaijani control. Reports circulating on the internet indicate that international organizations and politicians, including Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, have condemned the acts of vandalism by Azerbaijanis in Artsakh, but no actions have followed these statements.

“The memorial commemorating the heroes of the Great Patriotic War was not chosen randomly by the vandals. Today, a revival of fascist ideology is taking place in Azerbaijan, against which the entire world fought in the 20th century. The silence of the international community will soon lead to the emergence of two new Hitlers in the form of Erdogan and Aliyev,” the circulated material states.
