Tigran Abrahamyan Comments on Threats Facing Syunik
We have been conducting field work in various communities of the Syunik region for several days now. I still do not know whether the relevant agencies, each in their own capacity, have conducted an in-depth analysis of the situational risks and threats; however, I can say that serious dangers are noticeable from a short-term to a long-term perspective.
These threats do not solely pertain to border incidents, although that is no less dangerous. I believe that Syunik needs to have its 'issues clarified' from various viewpoints; of course, I am not talking about superficial reasoning.
Only the activity of the Human Rights Defender's office is notable, which is carrying out quite useful activities. I do not rule out that there are works that may not even be visible to experts, but I have a different impression.
