Major Car Accident in Gegharkunik Province: Two Opels Collide, 5 Injured

Today, on February 17, a major car accident occurred in Gegharkunik Province. Around 14:30, at the 21st kilometer of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway, two Opels collided, driven by local residents Lyova Aleksanyan, 38, and Harutyun Asatryan, 33.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, both drivers and three passengers of H. Asatryan, namely Narine Asatryan, 53, Lusine Asatryan, 25, and 5-year-old Artyom Asatryan, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Gavar Medical Center.

Following the collision, one of the Opels lost its gas cylinder, which was ejected from the vehicle.
