Fatal Car Accident in Yerevan: One Dead, Two Injured

On February 17, a fatal car accident occurred in Yerevan, resulting in one death and two injuries, reports Shamshyan.com.

“Around 21:00, a collision occurred between a Toyota Passo and a towing Mercedes vehicle in front of 134/4 Davit Bek Street. As a result of the collision, the Toyota overturned. Emergency medical staff at the scene confirmed the death of an individual found near the Toyota. Two others were transported to the hospital,” the website states.

Several citizens gathered at the accident site stated that the cause of the accident was a collision by another vehicle with the tow truck, creating an emergency situation. The aforementioned vehicle fled the scene, while the tow truck, losing control, crashed into the Toyota.

The police and investigative department are working to establish the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured parties.
