Heavy Snowfall Expected, Blizzard Conditions in Some Areas

On February 17, heavy snowfall is expected in the regions of Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor's mountainous areas, and Gegharkunik, with blizzard conditions anticipated in some locations. Winds are expected to intensify in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Gegharkunik, and Ararat Valley, reaching gusts of 25-30 m/s, while in Yerevan, winds may reach 20-25 m/s.

From February 17 to 20, periodic precipitation is expected across significant parts of the country, with snow anticipated in mountainous and foothill regions from February 18 to 20. The wind is forecasted to come from the southwest at 5-10 m/s, with intensified gusts on the 16th expected to reach 20-25 m/s and 25-30 m/s on the 17th. The temperature is expected to gradually drop by 13-16 degrees Celsius from February 18 to 21.
