As of February 16, the number of Armenian casualties reaches 3849

According to the lists published by the Artsakh Defense Army, as of February 16, the number of Armenian casualties stands at 2364. This information was provided to Aysor.am by the press service of the Artsakh Defense Army.

Moreover, since the ceasefire until today, the State Emergency Service of Artsakh has discovered the remains of 1379 deceased soldiers and civilians during search operations. On February 16, the President of Artsakh announced that the Azerbaijani side had handed over the bodies of 106 individuals who were killed during the 44-day war.

Thus, based on the aggregated data published as of February 16, the total number of Armenian casualties currently amounts to 3849. On January 21, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan reported that forensic examinations had been conducted on the bodies of 3450 soldiers.
