Up to 25,000 Azerbaijani Casualties Identified in Azerbaijan: Hovhikian

Interethnic conflict expert Nairi Hovhikian wrote on his Facebook page: "In Azerbaijan, they point to up to 25,000 Azerbaijani casualties. The civil society of the enemy country is starting to speak about the human and military losses that the country has sustained.

Several organizations created under the guise of defending human rights and democracy have cast doubt on the official data regarding the losses suffered by our enemy in the war provoked by Azerbaijan in 2020. In particular, an article published on the 'Free Azerbaijan' resource states that, contrary to Aliyev, the preliminary figures given by the country’s General Staff are more credible, indicating 9,000-12,000 losses, while Russian sources have informed Azerbaijanis that the battlefield left behind 20,000-25,000 corpses.

This information has already become a widely discussed topic in that country, and in some areas, people are expressing dissatisfaction with the government’s behavior towards them."
