Shooting in Martuni: Two Injured
On February 14, 2021, around 23:20, in Martuni city of the Artsakh Republic, a 1996-born individual identified as R. H. intentionally fired shots with an illegally held "AK-74" assault rifle in the direction of a public dining establishment located on V. Khachaturyan street, intending to take the lives of two or more individuals. As a result, two people, G. H., born in 1984, and M. A., born in 1994, sustained gunshot wounds to various parts of their bodies in front of the public dining venue.
According to the Artsakh Investigative Committee, R. H. has been arrested. An investigation has been initiated at the second investigative division of the territorial investigative office of the Artsakh Investigative Committee based on Article 245, Part 1, and Article 103, Part 2, Points 1 and 6 of the Artsakh Criminal Code.
