Details Emerged About Poison Found in Alexei Navalny's Blood and Water Bottle
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny's blood and a water bottle, as well as other items, have been found to contain the same toxic substance. Currently, it is not possible to disclose where and how these items are being stored, the German government informed in response to an inquiry by the 'Alternative for Germany' party.
The authorities confirmed that the water bottle was brought to Germany by Navalny's supporters. However, the government did not specify which agency discovered the traces of the toxic substance. In response to inquiries about the water bottle, the agencies, and other related items, they stated, 'No additional information can be provided regarding the water bottle, agencies, or other objects and their characteristics.'
Similar responses were provided to questions about who the agencies received the bottle and other items from.
It is worth recalling that on August 20, 2020, Navalny's health deteriorated during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing in Omsk. Navalny was later transported to Germany, where the German government announced that the politician had been poisoned with a substance from the Novichok group.
