The Gathering of 'My Step' Supporters in Ashtarak Was Not Smooth, Several Will Leave 'My Step'

Last week, the gathering of 'My Step' supporters in Ashtarak did not go smoothly. In particular, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's decision not to hold snap elections, which was later presented under the name of 'My Step,' has sparked dissatisfaction. Some openly expressed their opinion, stating that snap elections are simply imperative and did not hide the fact that there is a threat of physical violence looming over them, and that this situation needs to end. However, this perspective was based on the notion of 'the sooner we face it, the sooner we endure it, so we can live in peace.'

It was reported that during the discussion of the issue and even after it, there were heated verbal disputes between some deputies for and against snap elections. Regarding future developments, the consequence of this decision may lead several deputies to announce their departure from the 'My Step' faction. There are even talks about a specific number — three deputies.
