Faithful Allies of Tsarukyan Offended by Such 'Unjust' Treatment
When rumors spread that Gagik Tsarukyan intends to participate in the upcoming elections with a new list that does not include the old guard—prominent figures of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) such as Naira Zohrabyan, Gevorg Petrosyan, and Mikayel Melkumyan—persistent reports began circulating that these three MPs might leave the BHK faction.
Tsarukyan's faithful allies felt offended by such 'unjust' treatment. Is it possible? We asked Naira Zohrabyan yesterday. She replied, 'I am surprised that various political forces and individuals, forgetting the most crucial agendas for the country, are preoccupied with the person of Naira Zohrabyan. To the disappointment of many, my relationship with Gagik Tsarukyan is excellent; there are no work-related or personal issues. I have no intention or desire to leave the BHK faction.'
As for the next Assembly list, Zohrabyan stated that it is too early to talk about that, and there are more pressing issues for her at the moment—problems concerning prisoners of war, missing persons, and the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh. 'By the way, I have reached out to various humanitarian organizations regarding these issues, and on Monday, I will be in Moscow at the invitation of the State Duma, where I will have various meetings, which will include discussing the issue of prisoners of war. As for those who are persistently disturbed by my persona and are trying to create artificial noise and sensation around me, I advise them to drink some cold juice to free themselves from their incomprehensible complexes and dependencies regarding my person.'
