Stabbing Near Yerevan's 185th School; One Injured, Suspect is a 'Haybusak' Student

Investigations are underway at the Mashtots division of the police regarding an incident that occurred in Yerevan on February 8. At approximately 4:30 PM, the Mashtots police received a call from the 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center reporting that an individual with a 'chest stab wound' had been brought in by the emergency medical team in Yerevan, according to shamshyan.com.

A police operational group has been dispatched to the hospital, where they identified the injured party as 18-year-old Davit H. from the Aragatsotn Province. He informed the hospital staff that he had sustained his injury in the yard of school number 185 located in the Norashen neighborhood.

While medical personnel were providing assistance, police officers dealing with juvenile affairs managed to detain 18-year-old Harutyun H. from the Norashen neighborhood. He is suspected of having an argument with Davit H. near the school and of stabbing him.

A forensic medical examination has been initiated. Harutyun H. has been released. Police are taking necessary measures to locate the knife used in the crime. According to sources, the victim is a 12th-grade student from a school in Artashat, while the suspect is a second-year student at 'Haybusak' College.
