Man Stabbed During Domestic Dispute Over Household Issues

On February 9, at 01:05 AM, the Yeghegnadzor police department received a report from a hospital that a 24-year-old man had been admitted with a "stab wound to the chest." Police officers dispatched to the hospital learned that the ambulance crew had transported the victim from a building on Yerevanyan Highway in Yeghegnadzor.

As a result of joint operational and investigative measures carried out by the Vayots Dzor regional police department and the Yeghegnadzor police, it was determined that the victim had been stabbed by his 34-year-old wife with whom he was in a marital relationship.

A criminal case has been initiated. The 34-year-old woman has been arrested. The weapon used in the crime has been discovered and secured. An investigation is underway.
