Road Closures in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has announced that there are road closures within the territory of Armenia.

In Aragat County, highways from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and the road leading to the Kari Lake are closed.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Management Department of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. However, approximately 300 freight trucks are backed up on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
