Yulia Navalnaya Departs for Germany

Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny, has left Russia for Germany, Interfax reports, citing informed sources.

According to the agency’s interlocutor, Yulia Navalnaya departed from Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport to Frankfurt am Main. No further details have been disclosed.

Earlier, the Federal Council of Russia mentioned that "the West may replace Navalny with his wife, Yulia." It is worth recalling that Navalny was arrested on January 18 upon returning from Germany with his wife. On February 2, a court sentenced him to 3.5 years in prison.
