Peskov Announces Upcoming Meeting Between Putin and Lukashenko
Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, has announced the preparatory work for the upcoming meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
"We will provide information about the timelines later. The meeting is being prepared," Peskov said to RIA Novosti.
Meanwhile, Kommersant, citing its sources, reports that the presidents may meet in Sochi at the end of February. According to the publication's information, the discussed dates are between February 22-25.
It is noted that the parties may discuss the provision of a new loan from Russia to Belarus during the meeting.
