Photos: Couple Holds Wedding Ceremony at the Bottom of the Sea

In Chennai, India, a couple held their wedding ceremony underwater at a depth of 20 meters, according to BBC reports. It is noted that the groom and bride traveled to the shores of Nilankarai in traditional wedding attire during the early morning, where they exchanged vows and rings submerged in water.

The groom is a diver, while the bride had taken courses just a few months prior to the ceremony. “I was anxious, and my parents were too, but there were eight divers with us,” the bride shared.
