A Group of 14 People Has Disappeared in the Mountains
A group of 14 people has disappeared in the mountains of the Sunzhensky district of Chechnya. This was reported by a representative of the republic's emergency situations service in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
According to him, the incident occurred in the region of Bamut. Local residents went out early in the morning to collect wild garlic, after which there was no contact with them.
Dozens of rescuers, firefighters, Interior Ministry employees, and volunteers have participated in the ongoing search and rescue operations. Eventually, it has been clarified that the group members exited independently from the nearby forest of the village of Arshity.
