Georgia-Armenia Land Border Reopened: Conditions for Crossing

The Armenian-Georgian border crossing point of Bavra-Ninotsminda has resumed operations today starting at 10:00 AM. Individuals with permission to cross the border can now use the Bavra-Ninotsminda checkpoint in addition to the Sadakhlo crossing point, according to the Armenian consulate in Georgia.

The crossing point will operate from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is worth noting that freight traffic through this checkpoint continues to operate on a 24-hour basis.

Additionally, it is important to mention that entry of Armenian citizens into Georgia is only possible after vaccination (two doses), while Georgian citizens can enter Armenia only with special exit permits issued by the relevant Georgian authorities.
