Tragic Car Accident in Ararat: Body of 28-Year-Old Retrieved with Crane

A tragic car accident occurred in the Ararat region today. At approximately 06:40, 28-year-old Tigran Avetisyan, a resident of the village of Getazat, lost control of his Ford Transit while driving on the Masis-Echmiadzin highway at the intersection near the village of Sayat-Nova. Under still unknown circumstances, he veered off the road to the right, overturned, and ended up in a field.

Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene that Avetisyan died on the spot as a result of the accident. Rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as citizens, were only able to retrieve his body from the vehicle using a crane.
