Extraordinary Incident in Yerevan: Emergency Vehicle Driver Assaulted

The driver of an ambulance responding to an emergency call was assaulted. According to Shamshyan.com, the investigative department of the Erebuni police is preparing materials regarding a report received on February 5 at their station.

At 10:50 PM, it was reported that the ambulance group number 03 had been dispatched to one of the addresses on Glinka Street, where the homeowner attacked and assaulted the ambulance driver.

Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports that the operational group from the Erebuni police department, led by senior investigator Matevosyan, arrived at the scene.

The police determined that the ambulance driver is 56-year-old Ashot Kh., a resident of Yerevan. By the investigator's decision, a forensic medical examination has been appointed.
