Arayik Harutyunyan and Samvel Babayan's 'Unified Fatherland' Engage in Behind-the-Scenes Dealings: 'Hraparak'

Despite the resignation of former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, Samvel Babayan, and his announcement regarding the cancellation of the cooperation agreement with Arayik Harutyunyan, the 'Unified Fatherland' party he leads in the National Assembly fully serves Harutyunyan's interests and continues its collaboration.

Harutyunyan himself is leading this force and punishes those who show disobedience. Recently, it was revealed that Marsel Petrosyan, the leader of the 'Unified Fatherland' faction, has been replaced by Gagik Bagunts. It turns out that Petrosyan was more oppositional and stated that they would not support the candidacy of Vahram Baghdasaryan for the position of the head of the Audit Chamber, indicating that of the 9-member faction, logically 6 voted in favor.

'Yes, 'Unified Fatherland' is today fully engaged in the process of strengthening Arayik Harutyunyan's power, they are engaging in behind-the-scenes dealings, and by doing so, they are not building a state but selling it. I am sure that the next candidate for the Audit Chamber will be from 'Unified Fatherland'. Regarding the change of Marsel Petrosyan, he had previously agreed with me that it was right not to appoint Baghdasaryan to that position; I believe the change was also conditioned by his opposition to the government's candidate,' said Artsakh MP Davit Galstyan.
