Vazgen Manukyan: We Gained Nothing, Lost Almost Everything After 2.5 Years
Vazgen Manukyan, the candidate for prime minister from the "Homeland Salvation Movement," met today with members of the Youth Union of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation.
"The state that was built did not correspond to our dreams, the authority was alienated from society, there was no justice that we wanted, and power was reproduced through falsified elections. Citizens did not feel like owners of their country. Utilizing this, certain forces sent their message to our youth and the people, stating that they would build that country—a country where people would be free and there would be justice. Now, after 2.5 years, we can record what we gained and what we lost. We gained nothing, lost almost everything. And the question arises: can we rise and build the state we dreamed of? I am convinced that yes. For this, we need will, faith, and work. And those qualities exist in our youth," said Manukyan during the meeting, adding that the first step on this path is the removal of the authorities.
"In these 2.5 years, we have not made progress in any sector, which means we have bad leadership, bad management. And thirdly, no matter what path we want to take, he cannot lead us there; he is a defeated leader," he stated.
