6 People Die After COVID-19 Vaccination in Switzerland
The Swissmedic agency has received 63 reports of side effects following COVID-19 vaccinations, with 6 cases resulting in death. This information was reported on the Swiss government website.
It is noted that the majority of these notifications (37 or 59%) are classified as 'mild.' Such cases include headaches, pain at the injection site, fever, and chills.
The remaining 26 cases (41%) are deemed 'serious,' containing instances of respiratory difficulties, allergies, and joint pain. Among these serious cases, 6 deaths have been recorded.
The deceased individuals, aged between 85 and 92, had pre-existing cardiovascular and respiratory conditions.
Vaccinations in Switzerland began on December 23, with two vaccines authorized for use (Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna).
