Dozens of Foreign Drones and Aircraft Observed Near Russian Borders
In the past week, dozens of reconnaissance flying objects have been observed near the borders of Russia. This primarily concerns drones and aircraft belonging to foreign countries. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense's newspaper, Красная звезда.
It is noted that within just the last week, 33 aircraft and 8 drones have been observed. Such activity has not been seen since September 2020.
All flying objects that approached the borders of Russia came under the attention of Russian radar systems. At one point, a fighter jet was even launched to prevent such an object from entering Russian airspace. This specifically refers to an incident that occurred on January 30, when a Russian MiG-31 was deployed due to a Norwegian aircraft.
