Australian MP Displays Artsakh Flag in Parliament, Promises to Hang it in Office

Australian MP Tom Koutsantonis, who initiated South Australia’s recognition of Artsakh's right to self-determination and condemned the aggression of Azerbaijan and Turkey against Artsakh, displayed the Artsakh state flag during his speech in parliament.

“I will hang this flag in my office. I will display it with pride in support of a people who wish to live in their land, the land where their fathers and mothers lived, who seek to coexist harmoniously with their neighbors, do not seek empire, do not seek to expand territories, do not seek war; they simply want to live and express their ethnic identity, their faith, and their culture to pass on to their children,” the MP stated in his speech.

It is worth noting that South Australia has become the second state in Australia to recognize the right to self-determination of the Republic of Artsakh, condemning Azerbaijan and Turkey for their aggression against Artsakh.
