Service Investigation to Be Conducted: Details Revealed by Soldier About Living Conditions of Soldiers

Yesterday, a soldier of the Armenian army went live to present the deplorable conditions created for border guards, after which he reported on his Facebook page that he had been forced to delete the video.

According to circulating news today, military prosecutor's office employees visited him. According to Andranik's acquaintances, he might currently be detained because the prosecutor's office employees said there are grounds for treason in his actions. Reports indicate that Andranik Poghosyan is at the military police station in Gyumri and a criminal case has been initiated.

In an interview with Auroranews, Andranik Poghosyan's brother, Artush Poghosyan, denied the rumors circulating on the internet regarding Andranik's detention or his presence in Gyumri.

“I have information that my brother is currently in Sisian, where he is carrying out his service. He will be transferred to Gyumri, where a service investigation will be conducted, and then he will be transferred to Yerevan,” said the soldier's brother.

In response to the question of why a service investigation is being conducted, Poghosyan stated that the investigation is being carried out due to the soldier's illegal possession of a mobile phone and sending a message with it.

“I haven’t spoken to my brother, they said that we can talk when he gets back to the unit; they will give him a phone,” said Artush Poghosyan.

It is noted that yesterday soldier Andranik Poghosyan went live to present the deplorable conditions created for border guards. He particularly noted, “We are now at the border, and we decided to go live to show under what conditions the army is maintaining a post. The Russians managed to build a large base in just a week, while look at what conditions we live under in our own land. Some members of the government go to elite restaurants in Moscow and spend $5,000 on a single meal, while today our soldier is in these conditions.”

The soldier displayed in a live stream that they sleep on the ground under a tattered tent. The tent could not even protect the soldiers from the wind, some of whom were curled up on the ground to rest a bit. This is at a time when the enemy has already built strong positions on Armenian land, and modular cities are being constructed for Russian peacekeepers in a few days.
