What Opposition Leaders Decided
Yesterday evening, a meeting was held among the leaders of the main political parties within the "Homeland Salvation Movement," which was attended by former Armenian Presidents Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan, Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan, Homeland party leader Arthur Vanetsyan, Ishkhan Saghatelyan from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), and prime ministerial candidate Vazgen Manukyan.
According to sources from 24News, the opposition leaders reaffirmed that they exclude any cooperation with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and will maintain the format of the "Homeland Salvation Movement."
According to widely received information, Serzh Sargsyan insisted that under no circumstances should they participate in snap parliamentary elections if they are led by Nikol Pashinyan. Former President Robert Kocharian suggested leaving this issue open and making decisions based on the situation.
In the near future, the movement's leaders have decided to intensify street protests.
