Date of the Next Meeting of Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia Revealed
The next meeting of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan is scheduled for February. This was confirmed in response to a written inquiry from Haykakan Jamanak by the office of Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
It is noteworthy that the first meeting of the Deputy Prime Ministers took place on January 30 in Moscow, during which it was decided to establish expert subgroups by February 2 on issues related to railway, automobile, and combined transportation, as well as ensuring transportation, including security, border, customs, sanitary, veterinary, phytosanitary, and other types of control.
The subgroups are set to hold their first meetings before February 5.
Haykakan Jamanak also inquired from Grigoryan's office about which structures and individuals from the Armenian side would be included in these subgroups. In response, it was stated: “At this moment, I can say that experts from the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Defense, the National Security Service, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be involved in the subgroup on railway, automobile, and combined transportation issues. In the subgroup responsible for ensuring transportation, including security, border, customs, sanitary, veterinary, phytosanitary, and other types of control, experts from the State Revenue Committee, the Ministry of Economy, the Food Safety Inspection Body, the National Security Service, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be involved.”
It was not possible to determine exactly who is included in the subgroups.
