Azerbaijani Side Again Prohibits Search Operations, No Explanation Provided

During search operations conducted in Artsakh on February 2, the body of another Armenian was discovered. Hunan Tadevosyan, head of the public relations department of the Artsakh Ministry of Emergency Situations, shared this information with Sputnik Armenia.

According to him, the body was found in an area adjacent to Hadrut. The remains are unrecognizable, and it is unclear whether the individual was a civilian or a serviceman. A forensic examination has been ordered to determine the identity.

Tadevosyan noted that today there would be no search operations due to the Azerbaijani side's prohibition. "Search operations were supposed to be carried out in the regions of Jrakan (Jabrayil) and Varanda (Fizuli), but the Azerbaijani side has prohibited them, without providing any explanation for this decision," Tadevosyan stated.

It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the search operations, the bodies and remains of 1,355 servicemen and civilians have been found.
