Response of Nikol Pashinyan's Spokesperson to the Situation Surrounding Levon Aronian
The leading player of the Armenian chess team, Levon Aronian, has not been competing under the Armenian flag, prompting Armsport to seek a comment from Nikol Pashinyan's spokesperson, Mane Gevorgyan. "To be honest, I am not familiar with such a publication. This is the first time I am hearing about it," stated Gevorgyan.
When asked by Armsport if there has been a meeting between Nikol Pashinyan and Levon Aronian, during which Pashinyan allegedly promised to address issues related to acquiring a supercomputer and financing a personal coach to enable Levon to prepare fully for the upcoming candidates tournament for the world championship, the Prime Minister's spokesperson responded, "Please allow me to familiarize myself with what has happened, and then I will respond if necessary," concluded Gevorgyan.
Shortly after, we attempted to reach Mane Gevorgyan again. "Honestly, I looked at Aronian's page and didn't see any publication," she commented.
In response to the website's observation that the publication was not on Aronian's page but rather on the Mediaport Telegram channel, the Prime Minister's spokesperson stated, "Honestly, I do not provide any comments on the statements of the Mediaport Telegram channel."
