Lori Deputy Governor Gayane Markosyan Dismissed from Position

Lori Deputy Governor Gayane Markosyan announced on her Facebook page, "Dear Lori residents and friends, by the decision of the Prime Minister, I am terminating my work in the position of Deputy Governor of Lori as of February 3. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who trusted me with this challenging and responsible position, who believed in me, supported me, and stood by me, who were critics of my mistakes and omissions, and shared in the joy of my achievements.

Thank you to the entire staff of the Lori Regional Administration, the leaders and teams of all communities in Lori, and all representatives of local, international, state, and non-state structures with whom we have collaborated at any stage. And most importantly, I am grateful to the PEOPLE OF LORI, for whom every day was directed towards changing something for the better, whose smiles and sincere words have been the best evaluation of my deeds and also of my omissions.

I summarize the end of my service in the last 2.5 years, first as an assistant to the Deputy Governor, then as an assistant to the Governor, and finally as Deputy Governor, with important experience in public administration, a vivid trajectory filled with busy and overloaded days, with the strong support of colleagues-friends, and with an unwavering faith and smile that never faltered."
