Facebook User Calls for Apparent Violence; Criminal Case Launched
On January 14, 2021, at 11:59 PM, a user registered under the name 'Tigran Gevorgyan' on the social media platform Facebook published a post containing calls for apparent violence. The post stated.
“I have the impression that some have fallen into apathy and have reconciled themselves with the existence of the Turkish occupation administration that has seized state institutions. There is, of course, nothing good in the created situation, but despair is also baseless. Their fate is predetermined; they must perish. The only question is when and how. If they die quickly and by our hands, then the country will have a chance for salvation, otherwise, they too will be killed by the Turks after being used, just as previous traitors have been killed many times before. I don’t know how everyone else feels, but I do not intend to deprive myself of the pleasure of killing a traitor. I have had many dreams in life, almost no one knows about them, but today all of them have taken a back seat, and at the forefront is the dream of feeling the blood of a traitor in my own hands, and this is precisely the dream that I do not hide because I am confident that it will become a reality. Having dreams is very important especially in such difficult times. Everyone should have dreams for our country to continue to live. A person dies psychologically when they stop dreaming. Today there are many psychologically dead people around us. Hegelian dialectics hints that the soul can be revived through killing the body. I mention Hegel's name so that later you won’t say that you are an educated person writing things that do not suit you. I could also find some way to attach Nietzsche’s name to this topic, but I won’t do it. DEATH TO THE TRAITOR!”
