Today, court hearings against Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny have begun, which could result in several years of imprisonment for Navalny. This was reported by Euronews.

The 44-year-old Navalny, an active critic of the Russian authorities, was arrested on January 17 after returning to Russia from Germany. He had traveled to Berlin five months ago for recovery following his poisoning with a nerve agent.
