Aliyev Responds to My Statement at Press Conference, Says Edmond Marukyan

Azerbaijan has raised the issue of the civilian population in Ganja, and we have raised the issue of our civilian population. This was stated by Edmond Marukyan in an interview with journalists, discussing the work done on European platforms.

According to Marukyan, the difference is that the Azerbaijanis were able to take journalists and diplomats to see Ganja, while the Armenian side could not take diplomats to Artsakh, as they were prohibited from visiting.

Marukyan later recalled that the subsequent events in Ganja were caused by terrorists brought in by Azerbaijanis, who are then blaming the Armenians for it. “After that, Aliyev responded to me at his next press conference. Our media did not report on this, but he did respond. He stated that Armenian politicians are accusing Azerbaijanis of organizing the explosions in Ganja,” he said.
