US Responds to Allegations of Involvement in Protests in Russia

The United States has responded to allegations regarding its involvement in unauthorized protest actions in Russia, stating that Washington has no connection to these events. This was disclosed by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in an interview with NBC News.

“The Russian government is very mistaken if it believes this is connected to us. This is about them. Their government,” he said.

The Secretary of State also noted that he is reviewing the situation regarding Alexei Navalny in the context of other aspects of US-Russia relations.
