Hezbollah Fighters Shoot Down Israeli Drone in Lebanon

The Lebanese Hezbollah party has reported the downing of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) within Lebanese territory, according to the Russian news site Gazeta.

The Israeli drone was shot down in southern Lebanon. Earlier, Israel had announced the downing of a drone near the Lebanese border.

The Lebanese authorities have repeatedly lodged complaints with the UN Security Council regarding the frequent incursions of Israeli Air Force drones and military aircraft into Lebanese airspace. The Lebanese army command reports almost daily on the activities of Israeli aviation in Lebanese skies, the news site notes.
