Intelligence Reported That Someone Wants to Target Me Personally: Hovhannisyan

During a parliament session, journalists sought clarification from former MoD representative Artzroun Hovhannisyan regarding reports from the Stepanakert information center stating that he was in Hadrut, asserting that there were no Azerbaijanis present there. In response, Hovhannisyan emphasized the need for logical reasoning.

“It’s quite obvious, isn’t it, that I had my phone turned off while in Hadrut and Fizuli? I reached Stepanakert and provided information about Hadrut 20 minutes later. Should I have stated that I was currently in Hadrut, risking being targeted because I had my phone turned on? There are logical explanations; why must you unjustly accuse people?” he remarked.

“Certainly, when I declared that I traveled through Karvachar and that it was safe, I was aware that there was a hunt organized specifically for me. The intelligence provided me with information that someone wants to target me personally. I changed cars three times, switched my phone, and left my phone in another vehicle. I took a completely different car to avoid being hit,” Hovhannisyan noted.
