France Closes Borders to All Citizens Arriving from Outside the EU
French authorities have prohibited entry and exit for anyone planning to travel to countries outside the European Union due to the continued spread of the coronavirus. This was announced by Prime Minister Jean Castex.
“All entries and exits from France to countries outside the EU are banned, except in special circumstances. This measure will come into effect on Sunday at 00:00. All travel to EU countries from outside France is only possible with a negative PCR test, except for employees living in border areas,” the Prime Minister stated.
