Azerbaijan: Russian-Turkish Joint Center Opens in Aghdam Region (Aghna)
A joint Russian-Turkish center for monitoring the ceasefire and controlling all military operations in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone has been opened in the Aghdam region (Aghna). This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
"The center will carry out the collection, summarization, and verification of information regarding violations of the ceasefire regime and agreements reached between the parties. Monitoring will be conducted using drones, as well as through the assessment of data obtained from other sources," representatives from the Russian Ministry of Defense informed journalists.
The opening ceremony of the Russian-Turkish center was attended by Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister, General Andrei Fomin, Turkey’s Deputy Minister of National Defense Yunus Emre Karaosmanoğlu, and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov.
