14 Soldiers Killed in Military Operations Identified, Another Body Transferred by Azerbaijani Side: Artsakh Emergency Situations Service
On January 29, the rescue teams of the State Service for Emergency Situations of the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs discovered and returned 15 bodies during search operations. This was reported by the State Service for Emergency Situations of Artsakh.
One soldier's body was found in the Martuni region, while 13 were located coming from the Jabrayil area. Additionally, the Azerbaijani side has transferred one soldier’s body from Yeghniks (Arega Mountain) to the Armenian side. A forensic examination has been appointed to determine the identities of the fallen soldiers.
As of January 29, a total of 1,344 bodies have been found through search operations. Today, rescue teams are set to work in the Hadrut region and in the Syunik province of the Republic of Armenia.
Family members of the fallen or missing soldiers, as well as volunteers familiar with the area who participated in military operations, are also taking part in the search efforts.
