We Demand the Immediate Release of Vahan Badalyan: 'Sasna Tsrer'

The Secretariat of the All-Armenian Party 'Sasna Tsrer' has issued a statement: "Instead of stepping down immediately, the regime of Nikol Pashinyan, which has brought us to a national disaster, is clinging to power and is trying to extend its rule through violent and repressive measures.

The arrest of political and military figure Vahan Badalyan, who expressed his opinion out of concern for the loss of our homeland, indicates that the regime has lost touch with reality and is driving the country towards catastrophic upheavals.

If Nikol Pashinyan does not want to see that Vahan Badalyan has merely voiced the widely held sentiment about him, he will soon face dozens, then hundreds, and ultimately thousands of manifestations of that sentiment.

Ultimately, this sentiment will turn into rage, which may lead to very dangerous developments. We demand Nikol Pashinyan to immediately release Vahan Badalyan, cease the policy of maintaining power through violence, and resign, creating the opportunity to bring the country out of the disastrous situation that he himself has caused.
