Turkey to Start New Cooperation: Erdogan and Tesla CEO Elon Musk Have Held Phone Conversation

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Tesla CEO Elon Musk have had a phone conversation during which they discussed future cooperation and potential joint ventures. This was reported by the Turkish presidential office.

According to the publication, Erdogan and Musk discussed a number of matters related to space technology, particularly mentioning Turkey's upcoming collaboration with the "SpaceX" aerospace company. Shortly after this announcement, Erdogan personally shared some details about his conversation with Musk.

“We will continue to follow the development of technologies both in our country and around the world, and we will continue to support any initiative that benefits our people,” the president wrote on his social media accounts.

It is worth recalling that Turkey has launched its Türksat 5A communications satellite into orbit with the assistance of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.
