Ankara Plans Cooperation on Nagorno-Karabakh Issue in 3+3 Format: Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu
Ankara aims to expand cooperation on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through a "3+3" format. This was announced by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu during a joint press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
"We need to promote the ceasefire regime. We plan to cooperate in the 3+3 format (Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran, Georgia, Turkey)," said the Turkish foreign minister.
He added, "Peace and stability in the region are in the interests of all countries. This will be most beneficial for Armenia and its people. We expect constructive steps from Armenia in this direction."
