A Group of U.S. Officials to Visit Afghanistan
A group of U.S. officials will visit Kabul to discuss issues related to the peaceful resolution of the Afghan crisis. According to Armenpress, this was announced by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani during a speech at the Aspen Conference on January 29. He mentioned that the U.S. plans to send a group to Kabul.
"We will also hold consultations via video message on how to accelerate the global resolution process and how to ensure the realization of the stated objectives. This is to ensure that Afghanistan is a sovereign, democratic, and united country," Ghani added.
The Afghan leader also noted that he is awaiting a phone call from U.S. President Joe Biden.
