Aside from Huge Losses, There Was an Attempt to Shift All Responsibility onto the Army - Marukyan

Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Bright Armenia' faction, writes on his Facebook page:

“I have no doubt that we will jointly restore and rearm our armed forces, and we will do so with double care and diligence. The heavy blow received in the war fell squarely on the Armenian army. The Armenian soldier and officer did everything to defend the borders of the homeland. Aside from gigantic losses, there was an attempt to shift all responsibility onto the army. The selflessness of our heroic boys obliges us to learn lessons from the politically incompetent governance. But even in these gravest losses and under the conditions of political irresponsibility, no one has canceled the truth that the Armenian Army is the guarantor of the normal existence of Armenia and Artsakh. It has been so and will always be so, and I have no doubt that we will restore and rearm our armed forces together, doing this with double care and diligence. Happy birthday, Armenian Army and Armenian Soldier! Political currents will come and go, and the marginalized who do not recognize your value will vanish in the dust of history, but you will remain and live on as the defender of Armenia, the Republics of Artsakh, and the entire Armenian nation.”
