Armenia to Appoint New Ambassador to Mexico

Armenella Shakaryan has been appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Mexican States. This information is reported by the press service of the President of Armenia.

“Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal and in accordance with part 2 of Article 132 of the Constitution, Armenella Shakaryan is appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Mexican States (residence in Mexico City),” states the decree signed by Armen Sarkissian.

Shakaryan has previously served as the Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles.
