Aeroflot Suspends Moscow-Yerevan Flights for a Month

The airline has decided to cancel international flights due to restrictions related to the coronavirus situation.

Aeroflot has canceled regular international flights scheduled for March and April. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing the airline.

According to the announcement, flights from Moscow to several cities, including the Moscow-Yerevan route, have been canceled from March 28 to April 30.

The decision was made in light of the continued coronavirus-related restrictions.

It was previously reported that citizens of the EAEU member states who intend to travel to Russia can reach the country by air from Armenia and Belarus from February 1 to March 1, provided they present a negative coronavirus test result through the “Traveling without COVID-19” mobile application. This amendment has been introduced into the Russian government's decision from March 16, 2020.

It is worth noting that air communication between Armenia and Russia was suspended last March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
